About
I've spent my career at the intersection of teaching, building, and telling stories, which sounds like three careers until you realize they're the same skill applied to different materials. Whether I'm designing a training curriculum, running a product roadmap, or cutting a scene, the job is the same: take something complicated, find the version of it a person can actually use, and ship it.
Over 15 years I've led learning and development, workforce training, and marketing programs in fitness, tech, healthcare, SaaS, aerospace, and mass transit. I'm PMP-certified, trained in Cornell DEI and DISC, and I work in Power BI, the Adobe Creative Suite, and enterprise LMS platforms. In the last few years generative AI has become central to how I work, I use it to build training content faster, prototype product ideas, and explore what's possible in preproduction for film, because it consistently produces better first drafts than I get alone.
Outside of client and employer work, I make films. I produce and host The Downing Cut, a podcast and YouTube channel built for indie filmmakers, and I stay active in the film community through past projects like Cozen and Pyrocene. I also built a custom AI-assisted app to help manage my daughter's treatment for Hypophosphatasia, a rare bone disease, after existing tools proved too clunky for how our family actually needed to use them. That project is a good example of how I think: find the gap between the tool that exists and the problem in front of you, and build the bridge.
